 As businesses and destinations start to re-open... there are some good things coming out of all of this Covid 19. In 2017 most Las Vegas hotels & resorts quietly starting charging for hotel/resort parking. With the news of business re-opening in Vegas very soon.... ALL MGM Hotel brands (9 total) will be offering free self-parking options for the foreseeable future. This includes the Grand MGM, Park MGM, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Bellagio, ARIA, The Mirage, Luxor & Excalibur. Bellagio 7 New York New York will the the 1st MGM hotels to re-open at the end of this month.
 Real I.D - all passengers boarding domestic flights will need identification that meets federal standards. The original deadline set by the federal government was October 1, 2020.
However due to our current 'shelter in place' guidelines and DMV offices recently closed .... the deadline date has been MOVED..... New date is October 1, 2021 Another week of rescheduling for our clients... To you our clients, it might seem simple to just rebook or cancel plans due to our world's health situation. It is more complex than that. Some airlines are offering generous vouchers for future travel. Some are offering refunds if certain criteria is meet. Cruise lines have offered extended and various rebooking options and many have offered full refunds. In house within the agency and financial tracking to protect clients money AND future bookings is time consuming. Our agency is working diligently to process all client reservations and keep future planning intact with possible travel options wide open. Please understand that once a booking as been REBOOKED... the original itinerary is gone and incentives may or may not remain attached to the itinerary so OUR GOAL is to protect each and every clients itinerary/monies to best serve you in future travels.
Many of you have been asking about your upcoming travel plans. I want to assist you with your questions, but first, a few words about more important matters.  We find ourselves in interesting times, where much of the normal functioning of our daily lives seems out of order. However, there are also a great many certainties. While we are all engaged in our various pursuits to earn a living and raise our families, we are also neighbors and friends. I want to say I am here for you.
Things will at some point return to normal, we will get on with the routine we sometimes complain about but for which we are now a little nostalgic. Until then, know beyond being your “travel agent,” you and I are neighbors, friends and family. As we move through the next few weeks, be strong and maintain your conviction in those things that have always sustained you, whether that be your faith, your family your pets or your own sense of integrity. We will all get through this together. |
Erin AvilaThe month of May is upon us and countless spring break trips, college campus trips, graduation trips and destination weddings have all been either cancelled or rescheduled for later in the 2020 traveling year. We are sill awaiting the final outcome of our 'shelter in place' orders that have have been worldwide. As soon as we get word on safe travel..... we will shout it LOUD from the rooftops.
